  9. Welcome to the Preview Edition of CINEMA 4D GO for Apple Power Macintosh computers.

  11. This document contains information on the contents of this CD, together with installation instructions. Please read this document carefully.

  13. CINEMA 4D GO Demo
  14. The demo of CINEMA 4D GO includes many sample scenes, textures and materials. The demo contains all the functions of the full version but has Save and Export functions disabled. Also all rendered pictures are stamped with a watermark.

  16. Before you jump ahead, please take a look at the additional documentation that comes with the demo (see below for details).

  20. CINEMA 4D can be started directly from CD. A special installation is not necessary. But, if you like, you may copy all the files to your hard disk.

  24. If some day you decide that you've finished with the preview edition of CINEMA 4D simply delete the CINEMA 4D folder from your hard disk.

  29. This Readme file is not the only one. There are some other documents that you are highly advised to read. They give you overall views of the different capabilities of GO, SE and XL as well as some detailed explanations of how functions work.

  46. We have prepared a detailed Quickstart tutorial that will show you the power of CINEMA 4D. You can read and print the "Quickstart.pdf" file using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You'll find the final tutorial scenes in the "Quickstart" folder.

  54. The folder "GO-Examples" contains many, sometimes simple, examples to demonstrate the gorgeous new features of CINEMA 4D.

  63. Mat, Tex, Plugins
  64. The folders "Mat" and "Tex" contain example materials and textures. They can all be loaded directly into CINEMA 4D. The folder "Plugins" contains C.O.F.F.E.E. programs that can be accessed directly from within CINEMA 4D GO. Depending on the type of plug-in you'll find access to them in the "Tools / Plug ins" menu or "File / Preferences" menu or in the "Function" menu of the time line.
